Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Phoenixtech when you use Phoenixtech | Links. Plain language, no surprises.

Last updated: 30 April 2026

1. Who you're contracting with

Phoenixtech | Links ("the service") is operated by Phoenixtech, based in Athens, Greece. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Phoenixtech; "you" and "your" refer to the person or entity using the service.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

Phoenixtech | Links is a hosted link-in-bio platform: we let you build a public profile page at links.phx.gr/<your-username> with a structured page builder, themes, and basic analytics. Specifics evolve — we ship improvements continuously and reserve the right to change, add, or remove features. Material changes that reduce functionality you currently rely on will be communicated by email at least 14 days in advance.

The service is currently in early access. Public paid Pro launches in a future product update. Existing accounts will be told before any change to billing or entitlements takes effect.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If you're using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure — that means using a real email address you control, treating sign-in codes as confidential, and signing out on shared devices. If you suspect unauthorised access, email [email protected].

You may have only one personal account at a time. Reselling, sharing, or transferring access to your account isn't allowed.

5. Subscriptions and billing (once Pro launches)

Paid plans are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited). When you subscribe to Pro:

  • You're charged the price shown at checkout, in the currency Paddle offers for your region. VAT/GST is applied where applicable — Paddle handles tax collection and remittance as merchant of record.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the same cadence (monthly or annually) until you cancel.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately and Paddle prorates the change. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.
  • You can cancel at any time from the dashboard or via the Paddle customer portal. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the period you've already paid for; afterwards your account reverts to the default tier with your data intact.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Your content

You own everything you put on your page — text, images, links, custom themes. By using the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and transmit that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you and to people who visit your public page. This licence ends when you remove the content or delete your account.

You're responsible for the legality of your content and that you have the rights to use it. See the Acceptable Use Policy for what's not allowed.

7. Acceptable use

The full list lives in our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't post illegal content, don't use the service to defraud or harass anyone, don't try to break or abuse the system, and don't use the service for any of Paddle's restricted industries. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules — see §10.

8. Our intellectual property

The service itself — the software, design system, brand, name, and domain — belongs to Phoenixtech. Using the service doesn't transfer any of that to you. Don't copy our brand, design, or codebase.

9. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (Supabase, Hostinger, Paddle, your DNS), and unexpected incidents happen. We don't offer SLA-backed uptime credits during early access.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we're legally required to, or if your account presents a security or fraud risk. Where reasonable we'll give you a chance to fix things first; some violations (illegal content, payment fraud) result in immediate suspension.

If we terminate without cause — for example because we're winding the service down — we'll give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused paid time on a pro-rata basis.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Greek and EU law, Phoenixtech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

None of these limitations exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or your statutory consumer rights).

13. Indemnity

You'll indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content or your breach of these terms — to the extent the claim is caused by you and not by us.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece — unless you're a consumer based elsewhere in the EU, in which case mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence applies and you may bring claims locally.

You may also use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform if you're an EU consumer.

15. Changes to these terms

We update these terms from time to time. Material changes (anything that materially expands your obligations or reduces your rights) will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date counts as acceptance.

16. Contact

For anything related to these terms — [email protected].
